Welcome to John Boucher Real Estate...
...where a local person with many years of experience will help you with all your Real Estate requirements, be it buying or selling.
We are based in Stanthorpe, centre of the Granite Belt which is just two and a half hours south west of Brisbane, on the New England Highway. The Stanthorpe region covers an area of approximately 2669 square kilometres and is conveniently accessible from the population centres of south east Queensland.
John Boucher Real Estate has a range of houses for you to view, ranging from a renovators dream through to luxury homes, rural properties, and both large and small blocks of land.
We can help if you would like to own your own business, or on the other hand, sell one.
Another aspect of our business is rental management, so if you have a house you would like to rent out, or you need somewhere to live but don't wish to buy, we are the people to see.
If you would like to have an auction for your property, we can arrange all the details for you. We also do auctions for goods and chattels, and machinery.
About Stanthorpe and the Granite Belt...
Stanthorpe offers a wide range of business and investment opportunities. Its spectacular landscapes and cool invigorating climate make it an invitingly unique area of Queensland.
The region has a growing population in excess of 10,300, half of whom live in the town which has a comprehensive range of business services, education and health facilities and recreation and cultural opportunities. The remaining population enjoy the best of country living with easy access to the amenities of the town.
Stanthorpe is serviced with Schools to year 12 level, a TAFE campus, a 54 bed Hospital, 4 medical clinics, 2 dental clinics, child care and day care services, a nursing home, retirement village and extensive sporting facilities. It also boasts a comprehensive Library and Art Gallery complex, Civic Centre and Museum.
The area is unique in Queensland for its climate, which makes it an ideal location for fruit and vegetable growing and wine production. The region supplies a substantial proportion of the State's fresh fruit and vegetables, and exports fresh produce interstate and overseas. Fruit and vegetable production is the major contributor to Stanthorpe's economy. More than forty wineries provide cellar-door sales throughout the region, and the current growth in wine production in Queensland is reflected in expanding areas of the region being planted as vineyards.
Extensive areas of National Park along the southern border areas of the region, containing the famed Girraween and Sundown National Parks, are added attractions for those who appreciate the rugged natural landscape.
